How to print larger poster signs with Adobe Acrobat.
If you want door posters or larger room pieces without using a specialty print shop, Adobe Acrobat makes it simple to tile a larger graphic across standard paper and tape it together.
Simple Adobe Acrobat poster printing steps
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you are starting with a JPG or PNG, open it in Acrobat or convert it to a PDF first.
- Choose File > Print.
- Under Page Sizing & Handling, choose Poster.
- Keep Tile Scale at about 100% to start, then increase only if you want it larger.
- Set Overlap to about 0.25 in so the pages are easier to match and tape together.
- Print on standard letter paper, trim the extra white edges where needed, line up the artwork, and tape the pages together from the back.
- For a cleaner finished look, mount the finished poster to a door, foam board, or lightweight backing after taping.
