Biblical Studies Library

Study Scripture, ancient texts, and Christian traditions with clarity.

This library is growing into a book-by-book, text-by-text study center for readers who want scholarship without unnecessary jargon. It brings together the canonical Scriptures, the Book of Enoch, the books preserved in the Ethiopian Orthodox tradition, historical context, theology, and practical Christian formation.

Our Research Standard

Readable does not have to mean shallow.

Each advanced study will identify the text being examined, explain its historical setting, distinguish fact from interpretation, cite primary texts and modern scholarship, and name important disagreements rather than hiding them.

A Transparent Approach

Canonical status will always be identified, not assumed.

Christian traditions do not all recognize the same biblical canon. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church includes books that Protestant, Roman Catholic, and many Eastern Orthodox Bibles classify differently. This library will describe those differences respectfully and will not use misleading language such as "secret," "suppressed," or "lost from the Bible" when the historical evidence is more complicated.

When an article compares texts, similarity will not automatically be treated as proof that one author copied another. Dates, manuscript evidence, literary context, reception history, and alternative explanations will be included.
