Today’s Scripture
God’s word is alive and working and is sharper than a double-edged sword. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined, to the center of our joints and bones. And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.

Today’s Encouragement
Hebrews 4:12 teaches that God’s Word is living and active. Scripture does more than give information; it exposes motives, challenges assumptions, and helps us recognize what is happening in our hearts. Today’s invitation is not merely to read the Bible, but to let God use His Word to shape us.
Inspirational Word
God’s Word does more than inform us. It reveals us. Sometimes we approach Scripture looking for something that confirms what we already think. Hebrews 4:12 invites us into something deeper. The Word of God reaches beneath appearances and exposes motives, desires, fears, and intentions that we may not even recognize in ourselves.
That can be uncomfortable, but it is also an act of grace. When God reveals something in our hearts that needs to change, He is not exposing us merely to condemn us. He is inviting us to surrender it to Him.
Before making that decision today, responding to that person, sending that message, or reacting to that situation, allow God’s Word to ask a deeper question: What is happening in my heart? Do not only read Scripture today. Allow Scripture to read you. And when God’s Word reveals something that needs correction, remember that Hebrews points us toward Jesus, who knows our weakness and invites us to come to God for grace.
Pause & Reflect
What might God be revealing about my heart through His Word today?
