Today’s Scripture
He said, “You must obey the Lord your God and do what he says is right. If you obey all his commands and keep his rules, I will not bring on you any of the sicknesses I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”

Today’s Encouragement
“Jehovah Rapha,” often rendered “the LORD who heals,” is associated with Exodus 15:26. The name reminds us to bring our brokenness to God while trusting His wisdom. Biblical faith can pray boldly for healing without turning God into a formula or promising a particular outcome on our preferred timetable.
Inspirational Word
One of the biblical descriptions associated with God’s character is commonly expressed as Jehovah Rapha—or Yahweh Rapha—“the LORD who heals.” Israel had just experienced God’s deliverance, yet their journey quickly brought them into difficulty. A great victory does not mean we will never face another painful season. Difficulty does not mean God has stopped being God.
There are wounds other people cannot see: disappointment, grief, broken relationships, fear, regret, spiritual exhaustion, and sometimes very real physical suffering. The name Jehovah Rapha should never become a formula by which we try to control God or dictate how and when every healing must occur. Instead, it reminds us of who we bring our brokenness to.
We can pray boldly while trusting His wisdom. We can ask, seek, wait, and believe that our broken places are not beyond God’s attention. Whatever you are carrying today, bring it honestly before the Lord who heals.
Pause & Reflect
What wounded area of my life have I been trying to carry without bringing it honestly before God?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, You know every place where I need restoration. Bring Your healing, strength, wisdom, and peace into the areas of my life that are hurting. Amen.
