— Psalm 90:17 (NCV)
Give us success in what we do;
yes, give us success in what we do.

Today’s Encouragement
Psalm 90 recognizes that human life is brief and asks God to give lasting purpose to our work. The prayer “establish the work of our hands” is not merely about productivity. It asks God to make our effort meaningful, faithful, and aligned with what matters beyond the moment.
Inspirational Word
Psalm 90 reminds us that life is limited. Our time matters. Our choices matter. And the work we spend our lives doing matters. That is why the closing prayer is so powerful: Moses asks God to make the work of human hands enduring and meaningful.
Moses is not simply asking God to make him productive. He is asking God to give lasting purpose to human effort. There is a difference. It is possible to remain incredibly busy while accomplishing very little that carries lasting significance.
Today, instead of asking only, “How much can I accomplish?” ask, “Lord, what do You want established through me?” Your work may happen in an office, classroom, church, job site, business, home, ministry, or somewhere nobody notices. Faithfulness is not measured only by visibility. Ask God to make today’s work meaningful, redirect work that is unnecessary, strengthen what matters, and then place your hands back on the task He has given you.
Pause & Reflect
What work am I asking God to establish instead of merely helping me complete?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, establish the work of my hands. Give me wisdom to invest my time in what matters and let my work honor You and serve others well. Amen.
