Today’s Scripture
We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.

Today’s Encouragement
Romans 8:28 does not say that everything that happens is good. It says God is able to work through all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. The verse gives believers confidence that pain, delay, and uncertainty are not outside God’s ability to redeem.
Inspirational Word
Romans 8:28 is sometimes quoted too quickly in moments of pain. The verse should not be used to minimize grief or call evil good. Paul’s words are stronger than that. He is saying that God’s purpose is not defeated by the things that happen to us.
You may be looking at one piece of your story and wondering how anything good could come from it. You may not see the answer yet. Some things are understood only much later, and some questions may remain unresolved in this life. Faith does not require us to invent easy explanations.
What we can trust is the character and purpose of God. He can redeem, restore, teach, redirect, strengthen, and use circumstances we never would have chosen. Your current chapter is not proof that God has stopped working. Keep walking faithfully. The God who sees the whole story is still at work in ways you may not yet be able to see.
Pause & Reflect
Where do I need to trust God’s ability to work even though I cannot yet see the outcome?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, I give You the parts of my story I do not understand. Keep me from shallow answers and help me trust that Your purpose is bigger than what I can see today. Amen.
