Today’s Scripture
But he said to me, “My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you.” So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can live in me.

Today’s Encouragement
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul learns that God’s grace can be sufficient even when a painful weakness remains. The verse does not glorify suffering for its own sake. It redirects confidence away from self-sufficiency and toward Christ’s strength, which can sustain us where our own strength reaches its limit.
Inspirational Word
Most of us would rather testify about a weakness God removed than one we still have to live with. Paul asked for his “thorn” to be taken away. Instead, God taught him that divine grace would be enough for what he was facing.
That answer does not mean the pain was imaginary or that asking for relief was wrong. Paul prayed repeatedly. But he learned that God’s sustaining grace could meet him even in a situation that had not changed.
Weakness can expose how deeply we depend on our own ability, reputation, energy, or control. When those resources run thin, we may discover that Christ is not waiting for us to become impressive before He can work. You do not have to hide every limitation from God. Bring Him the place where you feel insufficient. His strength is not limited by your weakness.
Pause & Reflect
Where am I ashamed of weakness instead of asking Christ to meet me in it?
Today’s Prayer
Lord Jesus, Your grace is enough for me. Meet me in my weakness, keep me from pretending I am self-sufficient, and let Your strength be seen in how I depend on You. Amen.
