Today’s Encouragement
Ephesians 6:10–11 tells believers to be strong “in the Lord,” not merely in themselves. Spiritual strength comes from dependence on God and from putting on the whole armor He provides. The goal is not fear or obsession with darkness, but faithful readiness to stand in truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, Scripture, and prayer.
Inspirational Word
Paul does not tell believers to draw confidence from their own toughness. He directs them to find their strength in the Lord and in God’s power. That distinction matters. Christian strength is not self-confidence with a religious label. It is dependence on God.
The armor of God in Ephesians 6 describes a life prepared to stand: truth, righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. These are not decorations. They are habits and realities that shape how a believer responds when pressure comes.
You do not need to spend today afraid of spiritual opposition. You need to remain grounded in Christ. Tell the truth. Walk rightly. Hold onto faith. Remember whose you are. Use Scripture faithfully. Pray. Strength is built through these ordinary acts of obedience. Whatever pressure you face, your confidence is not in your own power. Stand in the Lord.
Pause & Reflect
Which part of the armor of God do I most need to intentionally practice today?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, make me strong in You. Keep me grounded in truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, Your Word, and prayer. Help me stand faithfully without fear. Amen.
