Today’s Scripture

Thank the Lord because he is good. His love continues forever.

— Psalm 107:1 (NCV)

Today’s Encouragement

Psalm 107:1 gives gratitude a foundation deeper than circumstances: the goodness and enduring love of God. Thanksgiving is not only a response to an easy day; it is a way of remembering who God is when the day is complicated.

Inspirational Word

Gratitude becomes steadier when it rests on God’s character instead of the condition of our schedule, bank account, health, or plans. The psalm does not tell us that every moment feels good. It tells us that the Lord is good, and His love does not expire when circumstances change.

A thankful heart can acknowledge disappointment without letting disappointment become the whole story. We can name what is difficult and still remember the ways God has sustained, corrected, provided, protected, and remained faithful.

Begin this month by naming three evidences of God’s goodness you do not want to overlook. Let thanksgiving become a habit of attention. The more intentionally we notice grace, the less easily ordinary blessings disappear into the background.

Pause & Reflect

What evidence of God’s goodness have I been taking for granted?

Today’s Prayer

Lord, train my heart to recognize Your goodness and to thank You in every season. Keep me mindful of Your faithful love. Amen.
